‘The Forest of the Witch’ is a contemporary adaptation of a 19th-century story, brought to life through traditional Turkish shadow puppets. Follow Karagöz and his friends as he cuts down a tree growing in front of his house and encounters an unexpected surprise: the tree is magical, and from now on, nothing will be the same.
With a 700-year history, Turkish shadow theatre is one of the world’s oldest shadow play traditions, brought to the stage through Ayhan Hulagu’s original solo performance. Join Hulagu for this hilarious and stunning show!
Recommended for ages 4+. Run time of approximately 40 minutes.
